I wouldn't buy stuff like pens and highlighters. There is so much free stuff you get on Welcome Week and throughout the year that you don't really need to. I have a pen holder chock full of free pens and highlighters many of which are still unused and I will use this year.
Everytime you walk through the student centre you can pretty much get free stuff.

Well, it also depends. For me, I can't stand using normal pens. I prefer spending a few dollars to get some pens that I'm used to and are comfortable to me.

Well, graphing calculators are useful for checking answers. But I'm pretty sure you're only allowed to use the Casio fx991 during tests and exams. So it's your choice. If you can find a program online to do your graphing, you're better off using that.

Youre not allowed to use graphing calculators for tests but if you wanna check answers with it, thats not a bad idea. But they're pretty pricey, so I wouldn't bother

It's the only calculator allowed during tests and exams. So if you bring your TI to tests and exams they may confiscate if they find out.

Les Prince washroom
I am wondering about the Les Prince washrooms. Are the following things found in the washroom:
- towel hanger
- toilet paper holder
- shower curtain hanger
- in-shower shelves
- toilet seat
- built-in soap holder
- storage room behind mirror or any storage space/shelves around sink area?
Thanks for answers

regarding the calculators - what about for chemistry? does it have to be the casio one? and when does the university officially let us know about what kind of calculators we need to use - first day of class?

There is a towel hanger, a toilet paper holder, shower curtain hanger with shower curtain, 1 little in-shower shelf, of course a toilet seat , and some space around the sink to put your stuff.
There is no built-in soap holder.
