Agreed! So many new and innovative shows - I almost don't want to see the new fall lineup because I don't have any room for new addictions (I already got addicted to Criminal Minds this summer).

Thank Goodness for my computer and TiVo, cutting out commercials IS the best thing since sliced bread, honestly.

I always love when people say "you watch too much TV" (I should clarify, I follow 4 "hour long" shows and 3 "half hour shows" on a fairly weekly basis, catching up when necessary. I rarely "TV cruise"). I like television and I don't see it as a waste of time, especially in the winter when is freezing-ass cold outside. My family and I watch TV together and we often end up discussing different aspects e.g. content, plausibility, metaphors etc. and many times I've actually used anecdotes in television to enhance a paper or topic I am studying. I honestly don't see what is so bad about it!

lol this whole post was kind of off topic, just on my mind.

That's not true, business is pretty much everywhere. There is a business aspect to almost everything.

Oops XD. Science also has a lot of career opportunities, sadly a lot of them are overshadowed by medical jobs.
