Maybe because you used it too much and it broke? O_O
@Everyone else: Would the supplies at Titles be more expensive than somewhere else like Staples?

Through my experience, a lot of things are more expensive at Titles than other places like Staples. Especially if you compare with the promotions that Staples has in August-ish. Overall though, some things don't vary by a lot, while others do.

Pick up your school supplies before school. Everything on campus screams "I'm ripping you off because you're lazy/forgetful." Convenience is expensive. T_T

The only thing I buy at titles is books.. I always feel like such an idiot when I decide to buy a pen or something overpriced...

Personally, I wouldn't buy binders. I got some for the first year, and never opened them even once. Notebooks > Binders

notebooks are good but i dont like them. simply because, sometimes u miss class. or sometimes u go to the prof that is better. that is where stuff gets jumbled up. for classes (without slides) that u go to every class for, sure it's better

EXACTLY! Notebooks were all I used in high school but in university, they didn't work out so well. I tried it in first year where I would keep my lecture notes in a binder but have my own hand-written notes and textbook notes in a notebook but it just got way too confusing after a while. So now, I just write on the actual lecture notes and have textbook notes all on paper in a binder. It helps you keep them in order without everything getting jumbled up and losing track of everything.

This can definitely be a problem, but as someone who prefers writing in notebooks I solved this by just leaving blank pages in between if I missed a lecture, I would just look at how many pages I seemed to use per lecture and maybe leave an extra few on top of that just in case. But to each their own of course

Suggestion:
Use binders for any course that has PowerPoints that the professor posts.
Use notebooks for anything else--I find notebooks for math are the best (when powerpoints aren't posted) because you have all of them compiled together in one, basically a book of study notes. Otherwise you'll have a bunch of loose-leaf papers in a binder and it can get easily disorganized, imo.

i never even knew those rings existeddddd thank you ! im definitely gonna get some theyre exactly what i need... and they have them at staples (or at least on their website!) http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/ca...fixedcod e=WW
theyre 5.99 for a bunch the same size, so if you got them for 2.99 for diff sizes at titles that seems like the way to go!
