Yeah, I was wondering about english 1a03. I enrolled in the july/august summer course so I was just wondering how easy/difficult it would be. Thanks!

Karen, if you check the reviews section there are ratings for both 2J and 1BB in there.

hi! the only reason i think they put bio2c03 for you to take during third year instead of second is so you don't have to have such a heavy load for the first semester in second year. You will be taking physical chem and organic chem and a lab course. So its hard to adjust to it. i wouldn't really oppose to it, since 2nd year 1st sem of biochem was not that bad.. but it really depends on your own preference. you can take it during 2nd year if you want, or wait till 3rd year. When you take i third year, you can take it w/ all your biochem friends and also, not as many required courses during third year, if you aren't in specialization.

sooo u would recommend taking it in second year? the only reason why i would wait until third year is to take it with my biochem friends..but if its not that challenging..i dont mind doing it in second year first semester

Has anyone taken comp lit 2G03 and if so what did you think of it? I'm thinking about taking it as an elective since I've taken religion classes in high school and I'm pretty comfortable with essays (although I'm a bit out of practice). Or alternatively, if you've taken other comp lit courses what did you think about the discipline in general compared to something similar like English?

Take a first year English or Comp lit first...if you're out of practice you're going to need to refresh yourself, and I'd suggest doing it with a first year class. Many high schools seem to inadequately prepare their students for university, so you're better off to take a class where they explain all the requirements explicitly.

Has anybody taken the 2O03 Canadian Children class before? I've heard that it's not too tough and was wondering if anyone else had any more information about it.

For second year, I'd recommend Geo 2MM3 gemstones, Geo 2WW3 water and Geo 2GG3 natural disasters. I think they may call them earth science now instead of Geo. They are harder than they used to be (used to be a joke) but they are still bird courses. Check out my reviews

OH MY GOD take PolSci 2C03. Best class, best prof of my life. I LOVED that class.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT take Natural Disasters. 2 years ago, that would have been a good idea. I took it last year and got screwed like crazy. Don't even get me started. Just DON'T take it (unless it has drastically changed, including a different prof, than last year)

HAHA, noooo Samantha lol. Professor Rink was a terrible professor, but only taught gemstones and explorers/adventurers. I too was beaten down by natural disasters, however, it's still a bird course. I mean, it's not like you can't study at all anymore like you used to, but it's nothing like bio/chem/physics/kin/math/stats or anything else I can think of. But yeah, if you see the name Dr. Rink, you know it will be easy but really really boring.

Dr. Rink told the entire class to meet in the student center at 7 pm for an exam review and around 200 people showed up. We all waited for hours like idiots and he never came! He said afterwards he was sick, but come on, he should have sent someone earlier to tell us.
