You automatically get changed. Once you select your major poof! MUGSI does something magical and then you're considered humanities.

And even if it didn't change for some reason, you've got 1-2 years until it really matters. Nothing is final about your degree(s) until you put it on your grad form.

Sometimes in the past, my finalized grades went up at around 2:30, or 3:00...ironically, when most people stop raiding MUGSI and I could actually get on easily.

But personally, I'd suggest heading to bed now and waking up around 7:50, 8 o'clock to pop on Mugsi around 8:15.

Seems like a smart strategy. I kinda wish that they would just update it at 12:01 AM. They are so inconsistent. SOLAR opens at 12:01, so why not MUGSI?

Yep, stayed up watching Doctor Who. Nothing special though, same old marks for me. Kind of wish I just went to sleep. Oh well, Doctor Who was worth it.

Okay so I got into BA Political Science but I was hoping for Honours... Is there anyway to get into Honours third year? Or repeal this? or anything?? I heard BA's aren't too useful unless they're Honours. Help...

if it says you are eligible does that mean you got in or you will be considered?

Eligible means that you're in basically. It says that because you haven't picked the program that you'll be going into yet.

As for switching to Honours from B.A. it's not as easy as shadowing a program I hear. I think you'll need to speak to the faculty and ask them specifically what would need to be done.

My sociology TA last year said she knew someone in your situation, got into BA Soc and not Honours, and wanted to switch. I think they had to take a couple courses and prove that they'd be eligible for the 4 year program.

notredame says thanks to feonateresa for this post.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think when you choose your courses in June, you will also choose your program at that point on SOLAR.

I have a couple programs "pending". Does this mean that my summer courses are going to result in a final decision?

Hey, when should I contact my faculty? During second year? After second year? Before? (like right now?)

In first year I got accepted into BA Anthro and not BA Hons. At the end of second year, I was eligible for (and entered) HBA Anthro and Cultural Studies. I mirrored the program in second year, kept my grades all above a 7.0 and was accepted.

The only time your degree program and minor is really applicable is in fourth year and you're planning to convocate in June. So don't worry about it.
