My life is boring, so I look to you, the people of MacInsiders for stories of awesomeness so that I can live vicariously through you.

Name something really awesome that happened to you recently so everyone can know about it!

P.S. I hope this thread succeeds!

I'm doing optometry shadowing and I got to look inside the eyes of people! It's so cool, the optic nerve, the macula and the blood vessels. I've seen all sorts of things from normals eyes to people with AMD (Adult Macular Degeneration) to people with burst vessels.

My dog lifted his leg up to pee for the third time in his life. He is 11.

Two minutes later he took a poop (not so awesome) =p

I'm a proud mom.

kokosas says thanks to Lois for this post.

I've recently begun seeing a reflexologist for all my health related concerns.
During the last visit, my eyes were inflamed and swollen due to allergies.
He worked on a nerve during the session which resulted in the puffiness going down to the extent where you'd never know my eyes were 1/3rd of their original size that morning.

I've been up since 4 30 this morning, and I'm now at work, twitching from a caffeine overdose.

I also rescued my neighbors cat from the roof AGAIN because the poor sucker doesn't know how to get down once he's up there, and he just yowls piteously.

I said hello to a prof while in MUSC today, he was so startled that he dropped what he was holding... I think he was holding food.
