George, engineers take math 1zc3 (linear algebra) which is pre prerequisite for 2z03. I think you're confusing it with life science math I believe. Pretty sure OP is talking about eng 1c03, the drawing course.
I did 2z03 last summer, wasn't bad at all really. Definitely a step up from first year, but it is doable. Considering you're going to have to take it during second year along with 4-5 other courses, I think its much better to take it now. If Eng 1c03 is the 1c03 you're referring to, then yeah, it shouldn't be a big problem.
Which program are you going into? Because if your program requires 2zz3, consider taking that too this summer.
