Why do you even take that as an insult? All I am saying is that in general the active members of this forum are most likely going to be of different lifestyles than myself and are going to have obvious biases towards certain things in the same way I have obvious biases to things they may like, such as anime.
I don't see how my plan to ask people when I move in is similar to my original plan, seeing as there was no original plan outlined. Also the reason I said "hmm?" was because there were 3 possible statements that he could be referring to.

thats not what he said, he just said all of us are dorks who don't know what goes on in the real world and he's taking our opinions with a grain of salt, it doesn't mean he's completely rejecting what we say.
