I found out about tryouts for the varsity team too late this year so I guess intramurals are gonna have to do this year. Anyone know when they start and how they work? Like are there tournaments amongst students, stuff like that...

Outdoor intramural soccer starts september 19 and you can either register a team if you know enough people or you can register as a free agent and join and existing team. For soccer i think there are 3 divisions depending on your skill level. The season goes all fall and end sometime in early december. Indoor soccer starts up right after christmas break.

Sweet, so there is both indoor and outdoor intramural soccer team? That is pretty cool.
How competitive div. 1 (best level) anyways? Do Varsity players play intramrals too?

There are 3 classes in the Intramural.
A : Advance
B: Intermidiate
C :Beginner
Not sure if varisty players play or not, but i doubth they are allowed to. That was the case in Sheridan when i played atleast.
Also if your looking for a team let me know, im trying to find people to get a team of 11 together.

Only one varsity player per team is allowed and they must play in the A division.

I played A division last year and its pretty competitive soccer. Lots of varsity and former varsity players play.

Sounds fun. Except only 1 varsity player per team is pretty stupid. I will be on the look-out for an indoor team though.

Yeah I'm also going to try out next year for varsity. It's good to know there is pretty high level soccer in intramurals because I don't wanna play house-league garbage lol. I'll be needing a team to play for, so whoever needs players let me know.
