Solar Re-opens August 13th at 8:30 am
On August 13th, SOLAR will re-open at 8:30 am instead of the usual 12:01 am. At this time, you will be able to make any necessary changes to your lab, lecture and tutorials sections. If you didn't like the way your timetable turned out, this is the day when you can make change. You don't have to change your session timings if you don't want to, unless they conflict. Remember, you will only be able to switch into the sections you want if there is available space.
Simply log into SOLAR and you will be able to change the core, lab and tutorial sections for each of your courses.

Depends on how you see it. I think there would be less traffic because it's summer, meaning people stay up later and wake up later.

SOLAR may not open for some on that date, but it's more than likely that it will open for you on the 13th.
Thursday, August 13, 8:30 a.m.
SOLAR re-opens for those students previously registered and fees
cleared by August 12, and for those students who are newly admitted
after July 15th.
Monday, August 17 12:01 a.m.
SOLAR re-opens for those students previously registered.
Tuesday, August 18 12:01 a.m.
SOLAR re-opens for all students.

I don't get it. You have to pay all your fees for next year by August 12th for you to have Solar opened by August 13th?
