Yes, I know people who have done this. I think you can even not take the Enviro courses, and just act like a Life Sci student (otherwise just let them be electives, its not a big deal either way).
Just be absolutely sure you have all the courses you need, and avoid taking something in summer school if you can.

Lol one last question. With an 84 average, will I have a high chance of getting in?

I'm guessing Life Science? I'd say that's pushing it - its one of those averages that can go either way depending on the cut-off. Bump that to an 87, 88 and you should be in for sure.

lol. lurking fail
Now, I have to help...yeah, you have a good chance of getting in Enviro Sci, for which the cutoff ranges from high 70s to low 80s. You can assume that's 79-84.

So I just wanna confirm how hard will it be to get into Life Science in 2nd year if I take Environmental and Earth Sciences first year?

Stop worry... I think we explained already, if not here than on another thread.
At the end of first year you are in the same pool as all the other first year students (yes, ALL of them, so you could randomly go into Honours Philosophy or something as long as you fulfill the requirements). You pick up to four programs you want to get into, and are notified later which ones you are accepted for. You then confirm which one you want on SOLAR later. Acceptance is based entirely on your average and whether you have taken the prereq courses (ex Bio1A03 for H.Bio (Phys spec), etc - see the Course Calender). Sometimes you need a certain grade in prereq courses, but that's rarely, above a 6.
So you are at no disadvantage whatsoever, except you might have a little bit of a harder time getting into a course or two (since you are not required to take it in Environ Sci, you will not have a seat specifically reserved). However, since first year courses are so large, you'll be able to get in eventually. Even if you don't, there are always summer courses.

Oh I see...do you know what courses I wouldn't be reserved in if I were in E. Sciences compared to Life?

Also if you really do want to get into science, I suggest trying your hardest for Mac over Waterloo. Don't get me wrong, Waterloo is a wonderful school if you like math/engineering that is. They aren't exactly known for science and their science faculty is much smaller compared to ours. You'd get a better science education here at Mac, especially in your upper years.

I'd just like to point out that Comp Sci is not in the faculty of science, it's faculty of engineering.

Then my really cool folding faculty of science thingy I got at one of the info sessions last year lied to me. Either that or I'm confusing Comp Sci with another computer based course which really belongs in Engineering that is in Science for some reason.
