Start of Leafs season
Who else is surprised? From an 0-7 start last year to a 2-0 so far this year, against their 2 biggest rivals, who perennially kick their ass.
Also, wtg Pittsburgh and Chicago. The 2 previous Stanley Cup winners combine for a total of 0 wins so far.
Im so confused :|

Im not saying I think it's gonna last. Im saying I never expected to beat Ottawa or Montreal, let alone both of them back to back.

and sydney crybaby goin down this wednesday 
Edit: Btw 0-7 was pretty surprising since they did so well in the pre-season
This year...not so much, the whole team is replaced in literal sense!

It's a little early for talk like that 
But considering most of these guys haven't played together until this year, and how young the team is now, they're looking really good. I can't wait to see what they're like halfway through the season and have built up some good chemistry.

agreed, i was also surprised by the team's speed. one of the big reasons the leafs won on sat against ottawa.
I wonder when the Monster goin to play? |

Oh, I miss the days when the Leafs always made the playoffs and anything else was unacceptable. I miss Sundin, he was my favourite when I was a kid (my sister liked Cujo).
Don Cherry did a thing on Pat Burns last night, and was a bit choked up. He must be in really bad shape now.

Great start despite being down 2-1, played really well until the pens got that 3rd goal, then things got desperate and almost ugly.
