Ugh, that too. They should totally renovate and make more seating room. Im sure even then they'd still sell out.
I heard somewhere that they are essentially sold out for the next 15 to 20 years already. I dont know if its true but considering how in demand the tickets are I can believe it.

You have to consider though that they've played 4 games. Some teams are still 3-0 with 3 games played.

Oh yea, I've heard that too but not quite the 15-20 years. Maybe for the next few years at most IMO. But then again, the Leafs pretty much have this whole area covered in terms of a hockey team to go watch. So I'm not quite surprised that they'd be sold out for the future.

Ya 15 to 20 years seems a bit high, it is probably more along the lines of 5 years. I know someone who was looking for season tickets and the wait list was longer than 5 years though.

Season ticket base
This video perfectly describes the season ticket holder demographic for the Leafs. It's all the business-type white collar suits who just use their seats to entertain their clients. Some of them probably don't even like hockey and just use their tickets as a status symbol.

I think that's about right, as crazy as it sounds. My dad's been following them for years and says he'd just be getting season passes now, if he tried for when he had me.

I can believe that considering how Leafs fans are. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these season tickets are passed down from some grandpa's will.

if you get a chance to get season tickets... you find a way to pay the 100k registration and you buy them, and keep them in your family forever... its not like you can't find buyers if need be.

The Leafs are playing Pittsburgh in T.O. on Feb. 26th and March 2nd. I'm so excited, one of my friends has season tickets and we're gonna go! *WOOT WOOT* I like how last Saturday, Ron Maclean asked Don Cherry if the Leafs are going to make it into the Playoffs this year, and Don Cherry completely stmbled over his words. He was like, "Oh, um... YES." I laughed so hard, that moment definitely should be on play-back.

I just looked up ticket prices for a Toronto VS. Pittsburgh game at the ACC. They range from $200 - $700 a ticket. The second most expensive are 3 rows back from the visitors (Pens) bench. I don't think I'll be going... anyone want to sell me your tickets?
