who steals a jacket....
So... i went to charlie west yesterday, and as cheap as I am, I didnt use the coat check and left my coat on the bench. At the end of the night at around 2, I looked everywhere for it. I concluded that someone must have took it, searched it and thrown it away. So I looked around Charlie West seeing if I can find it. Might I add that it was freezing outside and I was just in my shirt, covered in sweat from the dancing. The worst part is, I had my hat and gloves in my jacket... Well my question is, why would someone steal a jacket. I honestly dont get it.. were you really that cold? lol.. Or do you not have one yourself? It would be the funniest thing if I saw someone on campus walk by me wearing my jacket and hat..
The whole story is kinda funny, but its kinda inconvenient for me as I am without my jacket, and classes start soon... So I decided to go on macinsiders to share my story to at least make some use of this incident...
PS If someone finds a thrown away jacket with very faded greenish, greyish, yellowish square pattern with a hoodie, and my hat that is black and grey patterned and my dollar store gloves, please let me know and I would gladly pay you a portion of its price. It was last seen in charlie west... It might be garbage to some people, but to me its priceless...

you can't trust anyone nowadays... especially charlie west you shouldn't leave your stuff there. And it might have been some drunk that thought it was their jacket.

I had a friend have his engineering jacket stolen from the west end... I though that was particularly weird because it was so easy to identify - only 3 like his in his year - but its never been seen again :(
Super sucks dude, all the best

One time, I took someone's purse at a club thinking it was mine... but the judge was super sexist about it and said he didn't believe I actually thought it was mine because of the fact that I am a man... that was rude.
But he was right... awkward

Who steals a jacket?
Someone who's really cold and can't afford their own.
(also, doesn't this story sound extremely similar to one a couple of months ago? you're in a club full of drunken idiots... what do you expect)

The fact of the matter is you can't trust people. Except your mother... you can usually trust her... but still, if she says she needs $500 to help liberate $8.4 Million in funds from Afghanistan, you should probably not give it to her...
People just take stuff for shits and giggles, even if they have no actual use for it. A whole lot of people are immature and just think it's funny to wreck/take other people's stuff. What does the coat check cost? Like.. half a beer? You should probably make the investment.

It might have been an accident, or someone might not have bought a winter jacket yet and is cheap/poor so they stole yours.

lol thank you everyone, and sorry to post this, I know this happens every day and its not news to anyone. I was just in a moment of frustration where I just wanted to let people know.. honestly, I dont even care that much.. I just find it very strange that it was a jacket..
its not even about the cost of the jacket, its the fact that it was worth to me much more than its worth in the store.. I have emotional feelings towards my hat.. and it just makes me sad knowing that its probably somewhere in a ditch or in the flea market.. lol..
i honestly thought that people would not steal a jacket and a hat.. i guess society proved me wrong again..
at least i have a story to tell.. and now im off to lime ridge to buy another jacket.. lol

If the jacket and hat meant that much to you, you should have not been so lazy and cheap and used the coat check (I can't imagine coat check would be that expensive, probably less expensive than the cost of a drink at Charlie West). Hopefully you can learn from this.
