Still waiting on a grade (Macroeco), is it normal to be this late?
Hey there, so final marks were apparently supposed to be released on the 23rd and onwards. As of today I'm able to see all my final grades except for one...the class that I wrote my first exam for.

So I can't help but feel that something has gone wrong. I wrote that exam on the 9th and I even had a microeco exam on the 19th which I believe was the last day and got the mark for the microeco within a week.

BTW if your wondering the class that I'm talking about is 1st year Macroeconomics, so if any of you have also yet to receive a mark for this class it'd be really helpful to know.

I don't know what I should do, or which department I'd call about this.

I just don't see what would make the most sense in this situation. If I failed, it'd just show a F in my grade report instead of nothing at all right? If for some reason there are delays, how was the Microeconomics grade released even when the test was written 10 days after the Macro (aren't the macro and micro economics people in the same department?) and if I filled out my scantron paper incorrectly while writing they could just find the name written on the exam itself.

I just don't get it.

Don't stress, I had 6 classes and haven't received a single mark. It just takes them a while, University's closed till the 5th so you will probably get it then.

Chad, MikeyO all say thanks to RSK1 for this post.

One of the dumbest decisions made by university in 2014.

lol, calm down. A lot of people have yet to receive some grades back. I'm still missing 2 - sometimes the profs just take their time releasing the grades (they have lives, too), sometimes the university's system has problems (I know degree audit hasn't been working for the past couple of weeks). Just relax, you'll get your grades eventually, if you're really worried about passing/failing, email your prof/TA.

If, a couple of weeks into term you still haven't got your grade, then would be the time to contact someone - but first-year econ is huge, they're not just going to forget about the course.

Correct. An F is a grade.

I had the same prof who teaches macro econ for a 2nd year economics course this term, and haven't received my mark for that class yet either (we also still don't have an assignment grade back), so I think she might be a little behind on posting marks so I wouldn't be concerned as of yet!

I have marks up on Avenue that haven't been posted on Mugsi. It appears typical for most departments that some grades are up and others not.

Okay, now it's getting a little ridiculous. I've never had to wait this long for grades (and degree audit's still not working). Has anyone's grade report been updated since Dec. 24th?

Degree Audit seems to be working. No new grades. Still waiting on two as well. I think someone mentioned that if in a couple weeks they are not all up that would be a problem.
