Street Parking Permit
Hey! I was wondering if anyone knows about the street parking on Sanders Blvd? Once you get the permit, the limit parking no longer applies? But, on the City of Hamilton website it says the following: The universal 12-hour parking time limit for all City streets applies to permit holders.

http://www.hamilton.ca/CityDepartmen...eetParking.htm

Thanks!

My interpretation of that is you're exempt from the time limit up until 12 hours...like, some residential areas have 1 or 2 hour parking limits, so a permit would let you park up to 12 hours, but I'm not really sure.

Thanks starfish! I want to see if anyone has it currently, and if they need to worry about the whole 12 hour thing. It's pointless if I can't park overnight.

Generally those permits are only available to people who actually live on that street.

Yeah, I'm living on the street where I want to get Parking Permit for. Just wondering about those other conditions.

Vehicle ownership must reflect the resident's current address for which the parking regulation applies and must be shown before a permit may be issued.

I'm only renting a room there, so obviously my Vehicles ownership won't reflect that address...I don't if they will issue a permit now.

Has anyone done it like this?
