summer school is usually night class, but there are day classes.
It's 3hours lecture/day two days a week. Night class is 7-10pm

You have to remember that there are 2 summer terms over 4 months. So one term is 2 months. This means you have to have double the classes. So rather than the regular 3 hours of lecture we get a week, it's 6 hours.

it would have to be considered equivalent to a course at mac, just like a program at any other school.

I was just wondering, would some courses be available both summer terms?

Say for engineering you would need Physics 1D03 pass to go into Physics 1E03,

from past knowledge would both of them be available in both term 1 and 2?

you can check the timetable from last year.

I checked for you and last summer they were offered 1d03 in first term and 1e03 in second.

Try the International Students Office, which is in Gilmour Hall.

You need a letter of permission, yes. You also need permission of the Department Head for which the course is offered: so if you are looking at taking an English course you need permission from the head of the undergrad English department.
