summer school
I just received a green validation sticker in mail today as I am taking summer school. So with that sticker on my MAC ID card, can I use the transit bus ?

Nope, the green sticker just indicates that you are enrolled in the summer school and that is the only purpose.
It is unfortunate that it does not cover the bus fairs but if you really need to ride the bus you can buy one at the McMaster campus nearby the student center. I think it is 5 tickets for $10 or something like that.

I didn't get mine but I went to the student center and got it in person. It really isn't a big deal, just tell them you didn't get it and they will give it to you right away.

HSR Summer Student Buss Pass
Hey everyone,
You do need the green HSR summer school sticker in order to get your discounted student summer bus bass for the HSR (local transit). The prices are as follows, and all of the following are sold at the Compass Information Desk located in the student centre:
4-month pass valid May 1 - Aug 31 -- On sale April 18 - May 16 ($284)
3-month pass valid June 1 - Aug 31 -- On sale May 27 - June 17 ($213)
2-month pass valid July 1 - Aug 31 -- On sale June 27 - July 15 ($142)
1-month pass valid Aug 1 - Aug 31 -- On Sale July 27 ($71)
Alternatively, you can also purchase:
1. Buy an adult monthly pass for $87 a month (available at Compass)
2. Buy strips of 5 HSR bus tickets for $10 each (ends up being $2 for each ticket- also sold at Compass)
3. Use cash on the bus (Current price: $2.55)
If you did not receive your green summer sticker yet, you can go to the Registrar's office located in Gilmour Hall, room 108. Unfortunately if you do not have your student card with the green sticker attached we cannot sell you the HSR student summer bus pass at that time.
