Soooooooooooooooooooo oooooooo summer school applications come out wednesday at 8:30

how fast do first year courses generally fill up? ie, non-elective courses, namely bio 1a03, math 1ls3 and enviro 1a03?

I remember taking Envir Sc 1A03 last summer, however if I remember correctly I did not have a problem enrolling in the course. I can't tell you about the other courses, I never took any of them.

getting on solar is just a big a pain as it is when registering for the fall so expect to wait just as long, i took a 3rd year poli sci course so i had no trouble signing up but expect the more popular 1st courses to fill moderately quickly as well as courses that are mandatory for 2nd year programs as people who have failed them during the year will try to take them in the summer so they can stay in their programs

So how fast are we looking at? Since solar opens at 8.30 and by then I'm on the bus...would the courses stay available until 11.30 or something? or it that pretty much dependent on demand?

As you said it is dependent on demand. It changes from year to year. The number of seats should have remained the same since they usually only offer one core.
