Summer school before 1st Year
Hi
I want to take phys1bo3 in first year instead of the other physics without grade 12 as pre-req.....So....im taking 12U physics in summer school. How and who do I contact to submit my marks into for physics 12U?

Can I take phys 1B03 w/o having 12U physics???

Thanks in advance ~

As far as I know you need to take Grade 12 Physics to take 1B03.

You'll have to contact the Associate Dean's office about that. You can email them at [email protected]
P.S why would you want to take it during the summer before you start your first year?
Honestly you should take the time to relax and enjoy sleeping in and your daily activies because once first year starts you're going to get blown off your chair with the amount of work you're going to be getting.
Especially if you're in life sci - it has one of the hardest first year programs.
I was a 95+ average student in highschool and got my but whooped this year ... so enjoy like while you can before mcmaster steals it away from you

I second that 100%. Enjoy the awesome 2 months ahead of you! And e-mail them too, although I can tell you this, with all the course selection craze, it may take a few days to get back a reply

No u cant take 1B03 w/o 12U.
First of all, you would need to get your summer school marks back immediately. I know you can get that basically the day after you right your exam. You'd have to talk to your summer school teacher about that.
You could also try calling the registrar's office 905.525.4600 cuz it'll take them way to long to respond by email.
... but your still in high school. its not like you're in a hurry or anything...
