As of now, I have no grade 12 physics credit. I'm going into LifeSci and that means I will have to take Physics 1L03. However, I was planning on taking 12U Physics in the summer so I can take Physics 1B03 with my friends and actually learn something. Also, if I did want to pursue a career in medicine, I know that some schools require physics with lab, which 1L03 does not offer.

Basically, my question is: Will Mac accept the physics credit from summer school and let me take Physics 1B03 or will they not take it? I know they don't accept marks from the summer before school starts but I am hoping it's different for credits.

Yes, it will still count, but you might have issues registering for 1B03 because SOLAR doesn't know that you're planning on taking gr12 physics in the summer, so it thinks you don't have the prereq for 1B03. If it won't let you register, contact the physics dept or the science academic advisors to get the prereq waived so you can add 1B03 on SOLAR. They might wait until you've actually passed the course, or they might just waive the prereq immediately. Good luck!
