Summer School....so frustrated
I'm trying to take 3 courses, so of course I can't take them all in one term, but how do I find out if I can take them 2nd term? It looks to me like they're all only offered first term..what do i do?? Should I take one at another school?

Just see if any of the course is offered in term 2.

When you search for a course on the Master Timetable , it gives you the option to search by Term. Look at the number beside the course (either 1 or 2 or 3).
Term 1= May-June
Term 2= June-July
Term 3= May-July

Bio 1m03, 1a03 and math 1ls3. Maybe I'm an idiot and I can't search it up properly on the master timetable, but it looks like they're all only offered in term 1..but why would they put both bios in the same term? :S

Oh no, you're right all 3 are offered in the first term. They offer both bios in the same term because most people take them during the school year anyway, so if someone is taking them in the summer it's most likely that they're taking only 1, not both. In other words, these 3 courses you want are ones that most Life Sci I students have taken at least some of them during the year, so they don't account for people taking all 3 of these courses during the summer, because it rarely happens. Are you trying to switch into Science?

you could be in luck anyways. bio 1a03 is Monday Wednesday during the day, bio 1m03 is Tuesday and Thursday during the day and math is Monday Wednesday evenings. talk to an adviser asap cause you might get permission to overload

I'm only asking because that would be a good reason to ask them to overload in the summer. Contact the Registrar's office as soon as you can to get permission to overload because the last date for adding courses is Friday May 6!

just make your case by saying you are willing to work hard to do well and how its not your fault that all courses are in one term

You'll have no problem getting an overload if the courses are only offered in one term. That's what I did.

In the interest of time (as Sara said, the last date to add a course is coming up soon), have you had the prerequisites for 1A03 waived? You need to be enrolled in Science, or above level I of any program. I'm assuming you're in first year by your user information. You'll want to get permission for that first, if you haven't already, in order for them to let you into it.

Don't overload in the summer if you can at all avoid it. I did it with Chem 1A03, Stats 2B03 and Humanities 2C03 and it was extremely difficult to cheep on top of all of them.

See if you can take a course for next year 2nd semester so you can delay one of your courses to the school year.
