Switching from Civil to Elec and Biomed
Hey guys, im in a pretty big dilemma

Im in second year civil eng, and to be honest, I dont really like it. I always wanted to go to electrical and biomedical but my GPA first year was not high enough at all ( i had a 6.0)

This year i was able to bring up my GPA to a 7.25, and it should hopefully stay this way. I know its already really late in the semester, but im willing to repeat second year if need be, anyways, i have a few questions.

1) How would i switch? Go to the student affairs office?
2) Would they look at my second year grades? or my first year?
3) What are my chances of getting in given my situation?

Thanks alot guys!

I suggest you go and talk to someone from the ECE department. Here is a list of people you can contact:

I think you should contact Kelly Lyth, but i am not entirely sure.

The best thing to do is to go to the department of ECE in ITB-A111 and talk to them directly.

If not the ECE, you can go to the student services office in JHE annex. They take care of engineering student course/discipline dilemmas if i remember correctly
