Time and Location: Monday, February 7th, 2011, at 5:30 PM in room TSH B128
Next Monday, we are hosting an exciting lecture by Dr. Patrick Deane— the new university President. This will be an informal and personal lecture that aims to connect the student body to their university leader. Dr. Deane will be talking about his personal experiences such as life growing up in South Africa, how different events have shaped who he is today and his future plans for the university.
The lecture is hosted by the
Last Lecture Series, a MSU club based on the bestselling book, The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch, which focuses on mentorship through the sharing of life lessons and experiences.
After his lecture, there will be time for a Q&A session with the audience, so be sure to stay if you have questions regarding his plans for the university!
