I knew a couple who taught in south korea for 11 months.
they were not in love with it. a lot of early morning teaching and isolation. try to go where there will be other westerners.

Yeah, it seems that those who worked in rural areas had a hard time but I'd be put in a city where there are likely to be more westerners.
