Hey, I was wondering where I should start looking for info and if anyone has any personal experience in going overseas. Do you need some kind of ESL teaching license? Thanks in advance if anyone can give me a place to start looking =)

i think you just need any undergraduate degree from english speaking university to do esl overseas

yeah my physics teacher with a undergrad in Mechanical Engineering taught ESL in Korea. He said he at least enjoyed the money especially for private tutoring

One of my friends who just graduated from college is trying to get into one of those ESL overseas programs, that I think starts in August. I'll ask him about it and get back to you. :] If it's cool, maybe you can apply for when it starts next year.

EDIT: So! My friend applied for the TaLK program in Korea (Teach and Learn in Korea), and he's going in August. :] You don't need a university degree, but I believe two years of undergraduate studies.
