I wouldn't be too surprised--I saw him (alongside his binder of women) pass by an event held in the McKay hangar, only to leave when they were told not to campaign there.

I was pretty surprised that Brodka didn't win. I thought he had a chance and at least the 12-month bus pass was approved. If I get accepted again as a returning student next year, I'll be able to make use of that...

If the residence rule was deliberately broken, hopefully a complaint was lodged before the deadline of half an hour after polls closed. That rule exists for a reason.

Didn't find any of the campaigns appealing.
Also, wanted the HRS referendum to pass and the health plan referendum to fail.

Probably because most undergrads are still covered under their parents' health insurance and are too lazy to opt out in September. Really frustrating for those of us with no alternate prescription, eye care, or other coverage.

How does Isra have 3000+ likes on her facebook page, when the both runner-up and winner, Teddy have less than 1500?
Something seems a little strange....

Are you implying that the majority of voters for Teddy are uniformed people impulse voting simply because he came to their class, had people out asking everyone they saw, or went knocking on doors, instead of checking out all candidates and 'liking' their favorite after actually thinking about it and internally deliberating?

her friends who don't go to mac also probably liked isra's page. happens all the time with school elections. isra probably asked to share and like the page which got her most of the 3000 likes i'm guessing. and the voting was only a 40% turn-out. who know how the rest of the 60% felt about it...

i mean approx 20% of israa's facebook likes voted for her.
there were twice as many votes than facebook likes for both brodka and teddy. seems kind strange that 3000+ people just decided to "like" her page
thats kind of unusual

Well I'm not exactly how Facebook page promotion but it's a pretty big deal to 'buy likes'. Be careful not to mistake normal Facebook advertising with that. It's not a huge stretch to make the suggestion that somebody would do that to promote the agenda of a group that wants to increase Islamic influence in the west. They wouldn't even necessarily be connected to the campaign.

why do people insist that facebook likes mean anything. Remember when they cured cancer? or stopped Kony?
