How to tell if account is paid?
I paid the whole balance this morning using the online banking method. When can I expect to see this reflected in my account statement? If it doesn't show up until September has already begun (i.e. 20 minutes from now), will McMaster still count it as having been paid before the deadline?
Any help would be much appreciated.

3-5 Business days is what McMaster tells you to pay before the due date. It usually takes 1-2 days though.

You payment date is the day McMaster receives your payment. If they receive it tomorrow then it's on time. If they receive it September 2nd or later than it's late.

Maybe you overpaid? Did you match the amount listed in your Payment Agreement, Part 5: Balance Forward?

To the OP, I paid last year using online banking and it was really a last minute thing (few hours before deadline) and I didn't get charged a late fee. Usually shows up in my Account Statement 24hrs after paying.

If you paid by Interac, did you input the number into the wrong box?

You will have to talk to Student Accounts and Cashiers about that.

hey OP I made the exact same mistake and I called Students account today and they said not to worry about it because the 2 accounts will become just one account and the money will be taken from your student balance and used to make your payment and you won't be charged a late fee

manap3000 says thanks to HaXoRZ for this post.
