You should see the academic advisors for your faculty.

Thanks. Do you know if they can fix solar glitches? For some reason, SOLAR is not letting me modify my Chem 1A03 course without dropping it and adding it again (because SOLAR gave me different lab & tutorial numbers -_-) , and I don't want to risk losing my spot.

But the problem isn't the lab time, it's the SOLAR glitch, which I don't think Jeff Landry can fix.

Don't Touch/Drop/Add Anything! If you drop out, there's a good chance that you'll lose your spot. You don't want that happening. You've been warned. Landry will fix it, I promise. Go see him.

Thanks. I didn't drop out, because I was worried I'd lose my spot even though I read that would fix the problem. So, I emailed Jeff Landry, but the thing that sucks is that I missed so many opportunities to get into my lab because of this SOLAR glitch. I'm not expecting Landry to give me the lab I want, but I hope he can at least fix the SOLAR glitch so I can try to get into the lab I want on my own if Landry doesn't want to give it to me.

Just arrange your timetable around so you "get the lab you want" He'll give you a lab that fits your timetable

Yeah, but I don't think he'll give me the specific number I want, which I understand. But, that's why I want the SOLAR glitch resolved, so at least I can try to get into the lab myself, since he likely won't give it to me because I've missed so many chances of getting this lab because of this stupid glitch.

In what way is there a 'glitch'?

Either way, go see him in person, its pretty much your only option.

The timetable given to me had a different number for the tutorial/lab for Chem 1A03/1AA3. And for other students with different numbers, SOLAR doesn't let them modify their Chem 1A03/1AA3 course unless you have the same numbers.

So, when I click modify, I don't get a dropdown list of tutorials/labs and whether they are full like other people.

It's because I have different lab/tutorial numbers. And everytime I see my lab that I want open up, I can't get it, unless I drop the course, which I can't risk.

I have the same problem for 1AA3. But I figure if Jeff Landry drops my tutorial and put me into same group as my lab then I will be fine.

Does anyone know where I can find this person or where to email?

He (along with most other profs) works year-round, so unless he took vacation time, he should be.
