Timetable conflicts?
Everyone seems to be freaking out about their timetable, but I'm perfectly happy with mine.. so what exactly qualifies as a timetable conflict? Will it let you know if you need to change something?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but thanks for any answers

Conflicts appear in an orange box at the top of your timetable.

Yeah there's a message at the top saying that you have a conflict. Basically it's when two sections (like a class and a tutorial) are happening at the same time ... and obviously you can't be at two places at once.

It is when you have to be at two places at the same time. When you make any changes on SOLAR, it will let you know if there is a conflict. You can then try and work around it.

Hope that makes sense!

Conflict = one course taking the same time slot as another, and the system will tell you.

People complain because
- Having several 1-hour breaks between classes is not as glamourous as it sounds
- 8:30 classes for obvious reasons (though I'm stuck with them second term this year)
- Walking across campus (e.g. ABB to DSB) in a time span of 10 (or less) minutes is annoying
- 5:30 classes just suck.
