Thoughts on Chemical Engineering?
So I was choosing my streams for next year and I've put chemical as my first!

For people who are in chem eng right now, how do you find it? What are the easiest courses and hardest? What are the profs like?

Beware: Heat Transfer, Process modelling 3g04, 2nd year math
Lawl: 2g03 english class, 2i03 is zzzz

Coming from my mistakes, do your work and don't fall behind. It actually isn't hard to get the marks I just failed at doing so.

not really!

@OP

its a love hate relationship. 2nd isnt too bad, 3rd year is a roller coaster.

Proffs are amazing!!! Easy going friendly induviduals.

Classes to be aware of: Nothing in 2nd year expect for Stats (wasnt the biggest fan)
3rd year: 3E04... thats pretty much it. Other course are work intensive but arent as bad. We still have final course projects due during the course of the the exam period

Looking at the courses jon found easy, I didn't do so well in them. Makes me wonder why I'm in chem eng -_-. Also beware 3rd year. If you're in straight chem the course load is stupid

Not true. There are many good students in chemical engineering, lots on the deans honor list. Yes the cut off average is 4 but there are lots of other streams with 4 cut offs as well
