Timetable confusion
Hi,
I have to submit my final course selections to my mcmaster advisor later tonight, but the timetable is confusing me a small bit.
I've chosen classes which I don't THINK overlap, but I can't me sure.
See, some classes have loads of different times listed underneath, and I don't know if I need to attend all those, chose which ones suit me, how many times I need to attend, etc.
Could anyone explain this to me asap, before I email my advisor?

If the section is listed as EOW, such as a lab, it should be matched with a tutorial in the same time slot that is listed EOW. That's the only time you should have sections overlapping.
If a course has a lecture, lab and tutorial, just choose ONE of each.
Hopefully that clarifies it a bit for you.

There are 3 different course components: cores (C), labs (L) and tutorials (T). Not all classes have labs and tutorials. If there are mutliple cores listed (C01, C02), pick the one that has the best times for you. the class days are listed beside the core (tues, thurs), as is the professor's name.
If there are multiple labs or tutorials listed, again, you pick any one that best fits your schedule. if it says EOW beside the labs or tutorials, that means they run every other week.
An important thing to keep in mind though is that you won't get to pick tutorial and lab timeslots right away when you register. you pick your cores first, and then later on in the summer, when solar re-opens, you can select tutorial/lab times. at that point, you'll be able to resolve any conflicts.

Okay thank you, that clears things up quite a bit.
There's still something I'm a bit confused about though, so I'll give you an example.
I want to enroll in Abnormal Psychology, and it states that its core (C01) is Tues, Thurs, Frid 11:30 -> 12:20.
Does this mean that every Tues, Thurs and Fri I need to attend this class, or just one of these days?
Because another class I want to enroll in may clash if I need to be available for all of these times.

You have to attend all of them.
