				Timetables.

Okay, so from what I understand, tonight, at Midnight, or 12:01, the timetables will be on MUGSI. Now, my question is, where are they located in MUGSI, and is it possible to customize the timetable?

Where you click to sign in on mugsi, on the same side(under Student Applications) there's a link called Undergraduate timetable that is where your timetable is located. On the 11th at 8:30am you will be able to change your cores tutorials and labs around. You might not be able to change them either because it is full or the schedule you want conflicts.

It should be on MUGSI on the top left corner. And you can't customize it, it's pretty boring looking (green on white) but you could make your own on excel!

		You have 2 options.
1) Go to mugsi.mcmaster.ca and you will see it on the left panel.
2) Access it through MACCESS ( https://maccess.mcmaster.ca/portal/dt). Click on "Academics" then "Timetable".

You will be able to edit your timetable at 8:30AM on Wednesday morning - if you have accepted your payment agreement and have all outstanding fees cleared.

SOLAR...the timetable is completely non-interactive, it just tells you when your courses are. All changes must be done on SOLAR.

		 Wait, all outstanding fees cleared?
Meaning we have to have paid the tuition completely in order to alter our schedules around?

No, tuition for 2010/2011 isnt due til Sept 1, therefore it's not "outstanding". Outstanding fees are any that are past due that you should have paid a while ago--for example, summer school tuition.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you have to be full registered also to change your schedule ie not have an outstanding balance or to accept the payment agreement(as mention previously you don't have to pay till Sept 1st you are only telling mcmaster how you are paying your tuition. To check if you're full registered go onto mugsi--> My academics(on rightside)---> Course and Program summary(left side) this will tell you if you're fully registered at MAC.

You have to both be fully registered (confirm the payment agreement) AND have all outstanding fees paid off

Ohmahgawd, I hope I have no conflicts or weird times, so not in the mood to deal with that. I shouldn't have conflicts since I checked, but SOLAR is never perfect.

"You might not be able to change them either because it is full or the schedule you want conflicts"

Does this mean that the given timetable is likely the best timetable set up for us? I mean is it ok to leave it the way it will be set up for us?

The reason I ask is that my mentality at the moment is: "if it isn't broken, don't fix it!"
