Timetable is looking good my fellow engineer...looks like I will be seeing you around in physics. Also, 1A00 is indeed the intro to health and safety course...it is listed as TBA on my timetable as well.
Heres my term 1 timetable...let me know what you guys think (I think its pretty dece to be honest..could have been much worse):

The Science/Engineering/Nursing 1A00 is an online course. It will not be shown on your timetable as it is a one time quiz w/ video.

Wow, back in the day (as recent as 2 years ago) we had to go to this jampacked lecture hall where we would listen to this lady speak for an hour and then write the quiz. Needless to say, you could "confirm" your own answers with the person beside you.

On-campus doesn't really matter, you can easily kill time by studying, napping, doing homework, etc...
Same thing with off-campus.
Really off-campus, you'll probably want to go to the library. There are less things to do and you may get bored. But you can probably figure out how to use your time. Maybe you have friends in residence?
|
Unless if he's a commuter, in which case it sucks ass. But yes, there are things you can find to do, like study or go to the gym within that period.

Yeah, totally fine. You'll be able to kill time in your res, sleep, do whatever you want really. Personally, I lived off-campus, and I had like a 4 hour break last year... always tempted to skip that last class. But I'm sure it's easier on-campus.

It will automatically be added to your courses on WebCT.. uhm, i mean, E-Learn. Just wait till the term starts and if its not in there, contact sally williams through email, phone, or just go see her in her office (in the JHE building) - but this is only if you an engineering student. If your in science, find out who your guidance counselor is and contact them.

I'm hoping for the best, since all my classes relate back to Greek/Roman stuff. I dunno about a whole year of Latin and Ancient Greek, though.......my eyes may start to bleed!

Will SOLAR let me keep a conflict in my schedule? One of the electives i reallyy want to take is in the same time slot as a required course. Theres no way around it. I heard that for the required course all the lectures are posted online and theres no in class assignments so I dont really need to show up to class. Has anyone tried this before?
Thanks
