I hate that my faculty determines how much a course costs. I would be fine if they said that Commerce courses cost more, but the fact that I have to spend more money on the same Soc Sci elective (as an example) than someone who's actually in Soc Sci is pretty lame IMO. The Soc Sci student is probably getting a lot more out of it (seeing as I am only taking it because I have to have a certain number of "non-commerce electives" so I can be a "well rounded individual". Yeah right, I forget everything I learned in electives as soon as I walk out of the exam.

Hey! Thanks everyone, especially Entropy!! =]

So, according to the charts on http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...nt/pg2014.html and http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...nt/pg2013.html

If I'm only a part-time student in summer (3units in May-June and another 3 units in June-August), then I only have to pay for the part-time student fees below. Keep in mind I'm a full-time student in Sept-April. So do I pay part-time or full time supplementary fees in summer? Full time student has a lot more supplementary fees. I just want to know if it's worth it to take 3units in May-June and another 3 units in June-August since I'll be in Hamilton anyways.

Assume I pay part-time summer: 3units(4.63 athlete fee/unit+ 1.08admin fee/unit+ 163.51sci1 course fee/unit)= $507.66

So, is that my total? xP It would be great if any1 can correct me if I'm wrong. TY!

I'm taking 5 courses over the summer and my payment agreement says part time. But its charging me way more than that for supp fees. Weird.
