you need the two Bio's and the two chem's and a 10/12 gpa. According the undergrad calendar, you have 15 units of electives. So that already takes care of 12 units. It recommends that you also take a math course by the end of level 2 (just in case you don't get in). And it also recommends a physics course. So i guess it would be harder to transfer from kin to health sci than from life sci to health sci because life sci requires all those courses anyways for most life sci specializations

Yes, you can apply to transfer after first year provided you have met all the academic requirements and complete the mandatory supp app by the deadline. Please take a look at this link for more info: http://fhs.mcmaster.ca/bhsc/admissions_level_2.ht ml. Note application does not guarantee acceptance.

I woudnt count on getting in. Its much much harder to transfer into the program than be accepted initially from what ive heard. Space is very limited. Unless you royally messed up somehow in highschool you will almost certainly not get the required average to transfer in.

No matter what program you end up taking, your first year bio (~500ppl) class is going to be 50% medical school hopefuls. Dont base your program on those ambitions. Choose your program on ur base interests and study extremely hard to get good marks. Then apply to med school (after you live on a native reserve for a year or something. Gotta beef up that resume).
