Transfer to Schulich business program at york
Hi I am going into first year social sciences at Mcmaster. I was wondering if there is ANY chance i can get into york for business. If so what steps do i take? what average do i need? pls someone help me out

talk to ur academic advisor, although i think it might be too late. ud prob have to apply next year but do talk to em

Your best bet would be to talk to someone at York admissions.

shulich admissions was 91/2% in the 2009 application year plus that dirty essay

Admission Requirements for External Applicants

Note: External applicants must apply online through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre.
  • One full year of university study (equivalent to 30 York credits), including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Business and Society, Calculus and Database Applications to be completed in one Fall/Winter session.
  • Overall ‘A’ Average
Please Note:
Applicants must make an effort to match prerequisite courses to locally offered courses by comparing year levels and course descriptions.
  • The locally offered courses are: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Business and Society, Calculus and Database Applications (equivalent to York courses AP/ECON 1000 3.00, AP/ECON 1010 3.00, AP/POLS 1090 3.00, SC/MATH 1550 6.00 and SC/CSE 1520 3.00)
  • Individual assessments cannot be made until an applicant has formally applied and submitted official documents
  • High school academics cannot be used to waive the above mentioned university-level courses used for admission into our Delayed Entry program.

all you had to do was google "schulich school of business transfer" . if you can get all those courses in soc sci then good luck!! but keep in mind that keeping an A average in university requires a different attitude/work ethic/study habits than it did in high school.
