Transferring
Hi everyone!
I'm in first year life-sci and right now I'm thinking about transferring for second semester to York University for the life sci program. I was wondering whether I would get a refund on the following: second semester tuition, dorm fees, meal plan, and supplementary fees.

Thanks and hopefully someone can answer my question!

second semester tuition - yes, you pay based on the number of credits and as long as you drop before the date for financial penalty, you'll get a full refund
residence - probably not but you MIGHT get a partial refund; it's worth talking to them about
meal plan - most of it is non-refundable, but there is a portion that is
supplementary fees - I'm not sure. I know they're based on the number of units you take, so if you drop below 18 units then the supplementary fees decrease, but I don't know if you would be able to switch part way through since you're already getting the services from the full-time fees.

I don't think you can even transfer second semester as you will not have enough credits to even be looked at, beyond that, admissions cycle will not accept your for second semester entrance usually unless stated.
