Transferring into McMaster Engineering
Has anyone recently transferred into McMaster's Engineering program? If so, would you give a general outline of what you had to do? Lastly, if you don't mind, would you also share your cGPA before you transferred.

Are you transferring from another university or from a different program at mac ? If you are transferring from another university, the first thing you should do is apply through the ouac website:
http://www.ouac.on.ca/ouac-105/

I am not sure what average you need, i hope someone with a similar experience answers your question All the best!

Yep, in that case you need to apply through the ouac, i think its ouac 105d if you are studying in Canada.
Here's the website:
http://www.ouac.on.ca/ouac-105/

After first semester try and get in touch with the university, or at least the faculty of engineering so they can get to know you. You can transfer right into 2nd year if you get a C- in all of your courses in first year eng at the other university. But i am sure you need a high gpa to get into mcmaster engineering.
You need a C- to get transfer credits, if you get below C- in any course, then you would have to take it again next year when you come here. So try your best, because there's a big change of getting into 2nd year engineering if you do well
