University Transfer
Hello! Has anyone here ever decided to transfer to a different university. I transferred to McMaster this year and I believe it was the right decision. If you did transfer, what influenced your decision? Was it the right one?

from high school, i got into all my universities except from UW so i decided to go to Mac for Software Eng.
in my second year which was couple of months ago i tried transferring to UW but did not get in, again.
UW is known as a better school for Software Engineering but McMaster is still up there.
But i dont really mind because mac is a great school that looks much better than waterloo in my opinion. and the name is kick ass. I dont understand why universities are called the University of that City.

Maybe because it's easier for international students to locate?

Out of all the "city-named Universities" in Ontario, UWO and UofT would be my favourites.

McMaster University would sound like one of those private ivy league schools if there were to be any ivy league in Canada.
