Unsending email???
It may seem like an extremely dumb question but I am really desperate!! Is there any way we can possibly UNSEND emails from the McMaster email? Not simply deleting it but unsending it so it disappears from the recipient’s email box (also McMaster email).

Thank you!!

You can't control what happens in their mailbox once it's there, so no.

You could ask the other person to delete the email without reading it... that's about the best you're going to be able to do.

May I ask why you're so desperate to "unsend" an email... ? :s

If you had setup your McMaster email with your Gmail and activated "undo sending" you could have done that, but only for the 1st 5 secs though..

All that does is delay sending the email for the time in which you are able to "undo" it. Once a message is actually sent, there's nothing you can do.

Well you can set the length of the delay, i think you can set it up to 30 secs. as for once its sent it is true.

also if you use gmail and are afraid of sending late night emails, there is an option that will not allow you to send an email say, past midnight, without answering a simple math question. ive heard that has saved a few people from trouble lol

Wait, this is a real thread? I thought it was just a clever reference to that other one about the same thing.

Took me a while to find, but here it is.
