Next summer semester, I have Managerial accounting (2AA3) and Finance (2FA3). How f.ucked am I? I hear these are the toughest courses for second year. Also, any insight on 2FA3? Is it like a math course? I am good at math.

I'm not in Commerce, but I know the faculty pretty well.
It does not matter if you are good at math. 2FA3 is still going to be difficult.

2fa3 is only difficult with deaves and that terrible textbook of his. The course with Brewer is easier.

finance might kill you, depending on if you understand it. even if you understand some of the concepts you'll do okay. thats what happened to me. i understood a fair amount but there were some things i just couldnt understand. But make sure you just get help right away because it all builds on each other and all the formulas start to look the same. I hated that course but if you put effort into it you'll be okay. Some things you can memorize too. Deaves makes it worse if you have him plus his textbook sucks.

managerial is not that hard. you will love your life next year though you are saving yourself a lot of pain second term
