Hey everyone,

I am still confused as to whether we can use our student card (with the green summer session sticker) for using the bus in the summer. I've always thought we couldn't (hence why summer passes go on sale at Compass) but my friends keep telling that you could and that they always saw students use it during the summer. I've also heard that if you are a full time summer student, then student card definitely functions as a bus pass (..I am a full-course load summer student)

This question has probably been asked tons of time but could somebody clarify this for me?

During the normal school year, if you're an undergrad, the sticker only works for the 8 months. Those who manage to get on the bus while showing their card & sticker are most likely graduate students. Their stickers work for the full year.

As for the summer school sticker... I do not think they work, as I had one last year. You'll have to buy the summer HSR bus pass (and likely show your sticker in conjunction). I'm not completely sure on the process the drivers are taking this year.

Unless it says HSR on it, it won't be accepted.
