Hey guys,
Does anyone know what happens if your CGPA goes below a 4.0 in Engineering?
Do you get kicked out of the program without any warning or do you get some sort of probationary term to boost your GPA first?
I have really screwed up this semester and im getting really concerned about this.

If you're in upper years, I would think it's the same, though I can't find something in the course calendar that directly says so.
It's just your average at the end of the year, though, so you still have time to pull it up. You should talk to an academic advisor though.

You still have next semester. If anything drop more of the d04/p03 type courses and take them in the summer. Focus on the science type courses to do well.

No such thing as 'this semester' if you're in term one of year one of engineering, since there's nothing to compare it to.. if it was second year, id have a more positive message... :/

The registrar's office also says:

Perhaps this is an option. Remember, the university is there to help you. They don't want people to fail, they want you to succeed.

Good luck. You're only opportunity (and I'm not saying this to dissuade you from continuing by any means), is to figure out where you went wrong, pick up the slack, and kick butt in term 2. Party too hard without proper studying before hand? Too much time on the book of faces? Too much procrastinating on other things? Get rid of the other things, or learn to manage them better. That's the only way to make it through second term in Mac Eng, and on through upper years.
