Hey everyone,

I run a recycling program on campus called ThinkRecycle. It recycle ink cartridges, laser cartridges, cell phones, cameras, mp3 players, and in the near future laptops as well.

I'm looking for several people to help out with the program as I've been doing it on my own for the past 3 years and I just don't have the time to manage it with all my other extra curriculars and my Thesis.

All I need is a couple people who would put in 1-2 hours every week or every other week. Duties would include checking up on collection boxes, talking to offices and administrators on occasion to get new locations for collection boxes, and when the boxes are full, literally 2 min of taping them shut, setting up a new box, and letting me know.

As you can see, it's not a lot of work, but with many locations spread across campus, its a lot for just 1 person.

Do you really need "volunteer" clarified?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't the IRC run this exact same program with FLIRCs performing as the volunteers? Or does this program have more of an off-campus emphasis?

There have been rumors as far as I can tell of ink cartridge boxes in residences, but many residence don't have this. There also are no collection boxes anywhere throughout cmapus or offices or such. So no, not really.

Also, yea, I don't get paid, hence volunteering. Any money raised helps with other environmental initiatives on cmapus such as the everGREEN conference
