The Superhero Training Academy (STA) is a program run by the Pulse for children with special needs from the ages of 5-16. We are currently looking for volunteers for our spring session which runs every Saturday from May 7 to June 25 from 10-11 am.
As a volunteer you wil be paired with a child and are required to plan and execute an exercise program with this child. The program focuses on improving fitness fundamentals, such as balance, flexibility, coordination and strength, while also promoting the development of social skills, such as listening to instructions and working co-operatively in groups.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience working with kids and earn volunteer hours.
Qualifications: Current Standard first aid and CPR certification
Additional requirements: A police clearance and one reference
