Mac Life Sci is indeed overrated. There is nothing special about it at all. I would know, I graduated from the program more than a year ago and now I'm going back to school for a nursing degree.

wow cutoff at 89? That is OUTRAGEOUS. My high school avg is only 88, but in university my CA is 11+, however, some of my high school friends who had higher avg (90+) are indeed struggling. There should be a standardized test like the SATs along with the high school marks!

Agreed, and high school education is becoming a joke - people can buy their marks now at private school and enter uni with 90+ averages.

Standardized tests have issues as well. They're far from ideal.

You were in high school several years ago. You can't compare your average to people's averages now, because high school grades are being inflated at a ridiculous rate. It seems to be happening more in the past 5-10 years than in the past, but even if you look at 20-30 years ago, average high school averages were significantly lower.

If you can't get any clear answer then do what you usually do when dealing with poor customer supports, ask for the manager. In this case, talk to the faculty head directly. They know exactly what the numbers are and if you can sweet talk your way in, might even push you up. Gluck
