Who is waiting for Reinstatement responses? (2012)
If you are waiting for a response please post here, so we get an idea when letters get sent.
Lets hope this thread doesn't go horribly off topic as the last one.
Good luck to everyone!!

Just phoned dean, she said she just got my application, havnt read it yet.
She said might have to wait for 1~2 weeks so after they finish reading all the letters, they can decided who is going to win the game.

10 business days after u sent the application, call registrar's office, they will be able to tell you the verdict ahead of the letter arrival.

Reinstatements are Hell.
Hey guys,
I can tell you several things about Reinstatement since they are my best friend, lol.
First time I applied for it, I had just finished summer school term 1 and finished a course with a 3. Got my reply back near the end of July, denied. Took a year off and went to Seneca.
After the Seneca year, I reapplied. Handed in my application 2 weeks before the deadline and got a reinstated acceptance 2 weeks after.
Ive known people who have taken 2 courses in Summer School, gotten 6 and a 12 and have been reinstated.
Good Luck to All and keep your head up!

I remembered when I flip back see previous threads, I do see some cases those got reinstated immediately without taking a year off because of death of a family member. So guess it's all depending on how extreme your case is.

Depending on how extreme your case was, taking a year off might not be necessary. I took a year off.

Oh man this is worse than when I was waiting to get accepted into Mac from high school
Also I was told that if you do have to take a year off, you could do online courses at say Ryerson, get over 24 credits and good marks and then transfer your credits to Mac. So in a sense you dont loose any more years than if you were reinstatated without taking a year off.
Here are the equivalent courses http://www.science.mcmaster. ca/ass...lop2/equiv.php
