Beans, beans, they're good for your heart
The more you eat, the more you fart
The more you fart, the more you eat
The more you sit on the toilet seat.

Spaghetti, frozen spaghetti vegetables, pasta sauce, some ready to cook (or whatever it's called) meat (if you eat meat).
Make once for the whole week
Breakfast: Egg + bread + butter + salt + pepper = egg sandwich OR you could just go the milk + cereal route.
also get some rice if you wanna mix it up.

First, you can go here : They give you free food stuff once every 3 weeks
Second: To answer your question, yes,, Mr. Noodles are extremely unhealthy with the amount of sodium content in them. If you don't care about your health much, then instant noodles would be your best bet.
Third: What I eat when broke:
For breakfast: Milk, cereal.
Eggs
Bread with varying combinations: Nutella, peanut butter, jam, garlic butter, cheese,
regular butter
For lunch and dinner: Rice(different combinations), frozen food ( Schneiders/janes burger patty-
personal favorite , McCain fries)
I'll post more as I remember.

ok hear is good advice
Go to the grocery shop and buy what ever is on sale and you can eat
usually fruits or vegetables if their a day old they go on sale or something
Just something else, I dont think you should sacrifice your health because of wealth , try save on other things

Head to Farmers' Market in downtown Jackson Square (~10 bus ride). Follow the signs inside Jackson's to find the place. Everything is super super affordable there, much cheaper than any grocery store. Fruits, vegetables, raw & cooked meats, baked goods, home-made breads, pies, etc... Plus, everything's from local vendors, so you'll be supporting the community too
Just some examples of the prices: last year, I found fresh cucumbers at 5 for $1, a box of Mandarin oranges for $0.50... and just yesterday I bought 2 angel/coffee cakes for $4 total. (No taxes!)
Make sure you have a list of what you want to buy, and scout the entire place to find the freshest/most affordable items.

Anchovies are cheap. Unfortunately, I don't like them.

Canned soup ain't healthy though. Either high sodium and/or fat content.
Its cheaper to buy chicken bones and make your own broth. Then add whatever vegetable you want in there.

Interesting suggestion. I have always thought that Farmer's Market = Expensive Organic stuff.
Definitely have to check it out now.
