Which math stream?
Please tell me whether it is okay to do MATH1LS3 and MATH 1LT3 and then to move on to MATH2A03. I want to take it easy first year and not overload myself by doing MATH1A03 and MATH1AA3.
At the same time I love math and am really good at it. The main reason I don't want to do MATH1AA3 is that Prof. Turd is teaching it second term and I've heard some not so good things about his classes. At the same time Prof. Lovric is teaching 1LS3 and he's supposed to be amazing.
I can't do it over the summer either because I will be doing Organic Chemistry then.
Please advise. I only have one day to decide!

If you like maths and are good at it, take Maths 1A03 and 1AA3. I don't know about Professor Turd, but the courses are good and well structured, and you'll like them better. I like maths too, and I especially enjoyed the first course (1A03).
I can't speak for LS3/LT3, but from their textbooks, they look really, really model based. Like, the textbook and the questions and all are literally walls of texts, rather than the usual loads-of-numbers-and-symbols (did that make sense? LOL)
Anyway, that's my advice. (Also, Professor Barto is awesome. I had him for the first term and, seriously, he's super.)

Well I only took 1LS3 and then quit math, but I can vouch for Dr. Lovric being awesome. If you like math and you are good at it, you will get a 12 for sure in 1LS3. I hated math and I still got a 12 :p About 70%+ of the course material is review from high school calculus, and all of the new stuff that isn't integrals (ie discrete-time dynamical systems) is pretty much a complete joke.
To give some extra background:
-I got an 83 in high-school advanced functions, and a 75 in calculus (I took it in 12+ and already had all my grades so I didn't try).
-I used the textbook for 1LS3 maybe all of 3 times during the entire semester.
-Dr. Lovric takes questions from the assignments/courseware and copies them DIRECTLY on to tests
-When I took it, every test can be dropped, and your exam can be weighted to 90% of your final mark
-There is maybe 2 weeks dedicated to taking integrals, everything else is essentially old hat
-In the end, I messed up one of my tests (got a 60 something), but got 80's on all the other tests, then destroyed the exam to finish with a 12
Unless you plan on doing a minor with mathematics I don't think it really matters too much. Sorry I'm not much help, 1LT3 was introduced as a course after I had already declared myself done with math.

This is so confusing! All the Healthscis seem to be taking MATH1LS3 and I don't want to get a bad mark by taking something that my peers aren't. At the same time I really want to take MATH2A03 and not be unprepared.
Anyone else have any advice?

If you like math, definitely do the Math 1A03/1AA3.
Dr. Lovric was a good teacher, but I personally found that I liked Dr. Clements a lot better (she taught Math 1LT3).
Anyways, take the 1A stream and don't judge it based on the teachers. If you read about Dr. Turd on Ratemyprofs, I wouldn't trust it entirely. It's usually the people that either hate the guy or love the guy.

Take 1A03/1AA3, then 2A03.

Most health scis won't take math 2A03, either. The right decision for you is completely independent of what other people are doing. You might be entirely capable of getting a 12 in 1A03+1AA3 while someone else isn't.
I think, in terms of preparation for 2A03, 1A03+1AA3 is better. I switched streams partway through (took 1LS3 then 1AA3), and although I did well in 1AA3, I had to work extremely hard for it, since there were a lot of gaps in knowledge, that were assumed from 1A03 but I hadn't learned in 1LS3.

Like everyone else is saying, definitely take Math 1A03 and Math 1AA3. It it not going to be much harder to get a good mark in these courses, and for the most part, they are rather easy. These courses will prepare you much more for any second year math courses.

2X03 is a prerequisite for almost all upper year math courses, so I assume you will need it for the minor.

Unless you're majoring in math, you don't necessarily need 2X... And if you take 2X03, you better take 2XX3.
Just make sure to take Math 1A03, 1AA3, 1B03, 2A03, 2C03 and 2R03.
Smooth sailing beyond that.
